Ecocentric REfashion

Our project helps learners and educators understand how to recycle clothes and take care of the environment. We work with schools and universities in Poland,Turkey,France and with groups in Romania. Our goal is to show everyone the importance of recycling old clothes and living in a way that’s better for our planet. We aim to highlight how reducing textile waste plays a crucial role in preserving natural resources and ecosystems, sharing eco-friendly tips to inspire sustainable living.

The ReFashion project entails the development of innovative eco-fashion platforms integrating interactive learning modules and DIY Eco-Fashion Maker Spaces. Additionally, it involves hosting a student-centric “ReFiber Challenge” meeting to foster creativity and sustainable fashion solutions. Furthermore, the project will establish mobile ReFiber stations for textile waste collection and processing, engaging communities in recycling efforts.

Results:

The project aims to yield tangible outcomes such as the development of the Green Thread Platform, Mobile ReFiber Stations, and educational materials. Intangible results include increased awareness of sustainable fashion, enhanced community engagement, and strengthened partnerships among organizations.
